The principal activities at Montajes Novarue are that of shipbuilding & naval repairs, which are either undertaken on our own premises or are performed by displacement of our personnel to the premises of other companies to support their own workers, either because these firms do not have enough workers to meet work demands or due to lack of qualified personnel to undertake specific tasks.
The Company has two (2) sets of slipways for dry-docking ships of up to 60 m length and 12.0 m breadth
and 900 tons approx, additionally has a licence to build steel vessels of up to 250 tons weight.

Vessel repairs can be performed either with the vessel afloat or in dry-dock. The above mentioned dry-dock has two jetties where vessels can be repaired without the need for dry-docking.
Since the shipyard is located in a strategic area with no houses within a wide radius, works such as abrasive blasting can be performed on vessels that need such a treatment.
Our highly qualified personnel and state-of-the-art equipment are in constant demand from our clients to perform works such as manufacture of ship's framework in blocks which can be assembled at destination, or to undertake forging works using different materials and/or to manufacture high quality and high performance naval forging accessories.
